Artist's Description
Like the painting of the same name, this drawing is based on one of the photos I took at Trustom Pond NWR during our winter trip to Rhode Island in 2013. Our usual RI haunt - Sachuest NWR - was closed due to damage from Hurricane Sandy. That unfortunate turn of events forced us to explore some of the other gems the state has to offer.

My subject matter reflects three life-long passions: nature, history, and architecture. I have lived most of my life in New England. I love painting subjects from my home region, as well as from the travel that my wife, Linda and I enjoy doing together.
