Cedar Waxwings are handsome birds. They generally feed in flocks calling to each other in their quiet manner as if they're sharing secrets. This bird was uncharacteristically alone, feeding on the profusion of berries it had discovered.
I used transparent watercolor on Arches cold pressed paper in executing this painting. I completed it in February, 2015.
