Burrow Sentry metal print by Steve Hamlin. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

On a memorable trip to Machias Seal Island, off the coast of Downeast Maine, Linda and I photographed Atlantic Puffins by the dozens as they carried on their lives just a few feet away from us. The puffin with the fish in its beak is carrying food to a chick in a nearby burrow.

My subject matter reflects three life-long passions: nature, history, and architecture. I have lived most of my life in New England. I love painting subjects from my home region, as well as from the travel that my wife, Linda and I enjoy doing together. I consider myself very fortunate to see, photograph and study wildlife in its natural habitat, then relive those experiences in the painting process.
