Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

During our September-October 2012 trip south, Linda and I spent a weekend at Lake Lure, NC. The weather wasn't great and our accommodations were disappointing, but there was a rear deck that overlooked a bird-filled dingle. I set up my easel and my long-lens-mounted camera and tripod and had a thoroughly enjoyable time painting and taking photographs. There were Wood Thrushes and Swainson's Thrushes, Brown-headed Nuthatches and Scarlet Tanagers galore. This handsome male Eastern Bluebird showed up briefly and posed surrounded by a wreath of bright red berries, seductively holding one in his beak. I love the serendipitous framing of the viney branches, leaves and berries.

My subject matter reflects three life-long passions: nature, history, and architecture. I have lived most of my life in New England. I love painting subjects from my home region, as well as from the travel that my wife, Linda and I enjoy doing together. I paint only in watercolor, in a style that lies somewhere between impressionistic and photo-realistic. I love the transparency and immediacy of watercolors and celebrate the happy accidents of the medium, as well as its challenges.
