The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. We came across a flock of American Avocets feeding in a pond at the Bear Island Wildlife Management Are in South Carolina during our spring trip in 2012. I created this drawing from a photograph I took during that visit.
